Have a safe trip 🌈

Today, someone has passed away with whom I share many special memories.

When I think of him, I picture us on our Sunday walks with friends.

While swimming in the Rhine.

Watching *Tatort* with a beer in hand.

During long conversations, lots of laughter, and that sense of familiarity that had just been there for years.

The last few years haven't been easy for him.

The illness took a heavy toll on him.

And as sad as today’s news makes me feel, my greatest wish is that there will now be peace.

Lightness.

And no more pain.

I am grateful for the many moments we’ve shared and for the fact that our paths crossed.
